A discouraged teenager sees new hope in life through a chance encounter on a NY subway with Herbie, a mentally disabled man whose joyful outlook is contagious. A thirteen year old Navajo girl finds her own strengths through making a documentary about her Grandmother and their ancestral history. She imagines what it would be like to be her Great-Great-Great-Grandmother, Yellow Woman, who lived through the Navajo Long Walk of 1864 - 1868.

Using graphic storytelling and simple animation, this piece illustrates language, philosophical concepts and activities in an original song about a mythological oak tree in Japan. This fundamental narrative is interpreted and developed as a metaphor for the spiritual journey that unfolds. 
LUNCH, animation for kids, directed by Irina Golina-Sagatelian (Israel). Vlad is a lonely 40 year-old man. He wants to eat his lunch in peace and quiet, but someone drops a small cat near his door, and that disturbs Vlad's idyll.

POI DOGS, short film for kids, directed by Joel Moffett (US). Poi Dogs is the story of two local Hawaiian teenagers who take a small step towards lsove by moving beyond their desires to act cool, and find common ground by overcoming their pride and accepting each other. 
PRICKLY PEAR, short film for kids, directed by Marco Gozzo (US). A young Sicilian boy, while walking in the countryside, arrives at the home of the village “crazy” man, but this encounter will bring the boy a new perspective on life and on his own perceptions.
